According to reports by WHO, young adults around the world are at risk for noise-induced hearing loss. The level of audio devices, earplugs or headphones is on more than 60% volume for most of the day. Imagine what happens to the eardrum. What people often tend to forget is that once hearing is gone, it is probably gone for good.

Don’ts :

  • Avoid earbuds (popularly known as Q-tips) deep into your ear canal
  • Pay attention to ear pain, smell or pus release
  • Don’t smoke; smoking is known to affect hearing through circulation
